Since there are no dues or fees for AA membership, you may wonder why you have to pay to attend this roundup.  

 

An AA Roundup is a special event and not an AA meeting.  Roundups may include AA meetings for the benefit of those attending.  A roundup, unlike a regular meeting, requires months of preparation and incurs many dollars of expenses, most of which are paid in advance.  Registration fees cover some of the expense for items such as the rental of the facility, transportation, meals and lodging for our speakers, insurance, printing, postage, and supplies.
